23 Plate Car - Anyone collecting today?

Is anyone collecting their new 23 plate car today? It would be great to see some pics!

Sadly not, although I did see a 23 plate bus on the road around 3 weeks ago so I suppose that counts as my first spot.

Eh? Probably a single letter and then 23. They can be delivered early to drives, private land etc but not used until today.

The days of people putting their new plate on the drive the day before and dealers opening at midnight for private buyers to collect may be over.....

That's really weird

I was driving on the M25 last Wednesday (22nd) and saw a red double-decker bus on a 23 plate with additional trade plates driving in the inside lane.

Does it count as a new-plate spot if it's on trade plates?

No it was a full reg, and yeah it had trade plates as well. It was an EV as had the green strip. Found it rather odd as I thought the trade plate was supposed to cover the reg (which I'm guessing wasn't registered yet).

Still supply delays with new cars. We were due our new Macan today but it has not arrived in the UK yet. Parents also had a T-Cross and Range Rover for 1st Match due but neither seem to be built yet.

GTS, ordered last summer just before we took delivery of the current one. Will be our third one and I can’t think of a better family car.
