Hi, I'm looking for ideas for a sensible, reliable family car.

I've been considering Nissan Qashqai's so far but looking for other options.
Prefer petrol over diesel as we won't be doing too many miles.

Must haves:
- No more than 10 years old
- 5 doors
- Less than 60k miles
- Reliable
- Cheap to maintain

Bonus points:
- Heated seats
- Decent media system / apple CarPlay

Suzuki Vitara 1.6 NA petrol engine.

Cheap, reliable motoring. SUV shape and less than 1200kg so economic as well.
I don't know about the diesels or turbo engines so I would stick with the NA petrol engines.

The Nissan/Renault 1.2 turbo engine appears to have oil consumption and early failure issues.

For the budget I suggest a Kia Sportage or Hyundai Tucson are as sensible and reliable as one could hope for.

Don't want much do you.
Remember 60K miles on some cars is nothing compared to 60K miles on another
Anyway Volvo V70, got mine over the Christmas £7200, 4 new tyres, good MoT, £30/year VED, 50mpg (Diesel)
