My 1996 Classic Range Rover

Just looking for a spot of advice. I live in Spain and have my elderly Classic Rangie in a lovely warm dry garage where it has resided for about 8 years. It was working when I took it off the road. I started stripping it for a rebuild but lost enthusiasm. It looks like the typical barn find now. Some of the usual sheet metal bits need replacing. It had a very expensive paint job and new manual gearbox before coming over here. I would describe it a quite good but needs work.
I can't decide what to do with it. What is it likely to be worth in the UK today? I know they have gone up a lot in recent times. It would cost about £!000 to £1500 to ship it back but there should be some good money at the end.

A 96 car must be one of the very very last ones as I'm sure they were into P38s by then. There was some overlap. Equally sure they were all autos by then so manual conversion?
Body condition is going to be vital as they all rust like mad.

If you just want rid then try one of the new online auctions. The Market and Collecting Cars won't let you put a reserve on an under £10k car but Car and classic will.

Thanks for that. Yes it is one of the last carb engines. The flawed hot wire fuel injection came after that and then the P38. I had one of those and it was lovely but sadly it had to go for scrap.
The body electrics control module BECM totally failed. No one could repair it back then and you could not buy a new one either. So the car sat there dead in the drive until I just gave up and called the wrecker man. As he loaded it he said it would go in the line with all the others. How sad it that? I have seen that you can now get rebuilt ones.
The Classic '96 has got the dreaded sheet metal worm just where you expect to find it. Sill, wings and part of the floor. The chassis is good and the body panels excellent. There is also a new tailgate.
The 5 speed manual box is original not a conversion and it was rebuilt just before the car came off the road.
