It would be an interesting product if it was a marque that had a wider range of vehicle types, so you could have a city car in the week and then swap for an SUV or sports car for a weekend away or a longer road trip holiday.

I'm sure you could duplicate the functionality by getting on good terms with your local car rental office and lining up interesting rentals as and when you felt like it.

The only time I've heard of that JLR scheme is during the pandemic when they couldn't provide vehicles as the factory was shut.

Good points. Also I’d lose my long earned insurance no claims bonus.

Good points. Also I’d lose my long earned insurance no claims bonus.
As well as paying a minimum of 850 sheets a month to borrow a used car. Not a chance for me.
