circa £4k school run / daily / dog wagon
Discussion
Hi all,
Just sorting out deal on selling my 2006 325i M Sport as just not big enough or high enough to deal with tall kids, 2 dogs, mtb and the horrendous roads and tracks around the New Forest. So wishlist is:
- Decent ground clearance
- Plenty of space for 2 large dogs in the back
- Enough space for 6ft3 driver and tall teenagers in the back
- Budget around £4k
- Do lots of short journeys, but still long runs at least once a month, so prefer diesel
- No high tax bracket
Current thinking is mk3 Honda CRV cdti, or XC70.....anything else that appeals?

How about a Dacia Duster, and in steel wheels!

I'd say considering your budget I'd look at MPV's the Mazda5 in particular:Just sorting out deal on selling my 2006 325i M Sport as just not big enough or high enough to deal with tall kids, 2 dogs, mtb and the horrendous roads and tracks around the New Forest. So wishlist is:

I did wonder when I thought of the yeti, good load space, but the boot it’s self’s isn’t the largest. The A6 allroad is a good looking thing, some better ones could be found I suspect as well.
