Our Qashiqai is becoming a squeeze for my family of 5.
Is there anything out there that would be comfy on longer journeys for 5 people (2 adults, 3 growing kids) for around £5k?
I'm not fussed on age, milage or fuel or body type. But I would like reasonable running costs without having to be too concerned ever time something goes bork.

In fairness the Touran/Alhambra/Galaxy mpv was reasonable. The 1.9TDi was fairly robust and although the floor plan was based on the Mondeo Estate, they were fairly spacious. The only down side was that the boot space was taken up by the 6th and 7th seat (which were at least removable, but this meant storing when removed)

Not very PH but Renault Grand Scenics are quite good and have lots of space.
