I've just sold my second car, so have a gap on my driveway. Looking for a fun reasonably reliable second car. My shortlist at the moment is
E46 M3 with 130k, no ruat, subframe is good and decent service history @circa £9k
Smart Roadster Coupe Brabus 30k miles, cat c with service history @circa £7k
S2 Elise 111s, 108k miles, good service history with some paintwork issues @ circa £14k
Any experience with these- reliability wise and weak pointsWill only be , or alternatives i've missed? doing 5k miles per year, and would like to get as much of my money back as possible come next summer when I'm aiming to upgrade!

Thanks

TVR Chimaera.

Shouldn't lose anything buying now and selling in summer and it's pretty much impossible to buy a cheaper V8, RWD 2 seater.

Interesting thought, how are they for reliability?

thing is though, if you have a well maintained one it is a reliable beast as 20+ yr old cars go.

Problem is Lee, you chose the in-house engine from a shed in Blackpool laugh
