What IS proof of ownership?

My logbook just arrived this morning for the car I bought a couple of weeks ago, and looking at it reminded me that the logbook clearly states this isn't proof of ownership.......and I'm now finding myself wondering what exactly IS proof of ownership then?? I don't have anything that I could show anyone to prove I do own the car??

A signed receipt.

Bill of sale, invoice, receipt for payment for goods, bank statements showing payment.

Oh right! Well, I do have one of those but as it was just a rather unofficial looking piece of paper he printed out on the day, I wasn't sure that would actually be an official document, but I guess that is all I have, so it has to be.
