I seem to remember car vertical does not get good reviews, despite the yotober dollahs.

Does anyone have any good suggestions? Cheap as possible ideally!!!

Are we talking some bog standard car and not a supercar that may have been crashed abroad and imported into the UK?

Another recommendation for VCheck. Saved me a lot of money & heartache recently and it's very cheap.

Car Vertical that's being peddled everywhere these days seems a complete rip-off by comparison.

There are so many of these companies that offer car history checks. Most of them use one of three main data providers, so there'll be very little difference in the reports. The prices can range a lot.

carvertical appears to be the most expensive but there are others such as vehiclescore, vcheck, totalcarcheck which all have similar price brackets. The more expensive checks have finance, stolen and ex-taxi data included. My favourite is vehiclescore. The free data is all presented clearly and if anybody has recently paid for the premium checks they let you see them for free after 2 weeks.

I’d chuck CarAnalytics in the mix tbh, they’ve been around ages and you get loads of info for under a quid. Their OEM service history is proper verified too, not really seen that anywhere else. I use them quite a bit alongside the others. Defo worth a look.
