So i have been doing PCP direct with the manufacterer dealers now for my past 3 cars.

Now the interest rate APR is a joke. Literally double then what i paid 3 years ago. So i am not looking forward to the next deal.

I have been reading around online and there are some third party companies offering pcp at much lower rates.

I tend to keep my car for 3 years..then sell it on and use the equity as a deposit. So far so good and not been in the negative.

Problem is if i go buy a car from the dealer say 2-3 years old but finance pcp with a third party company would they allow this? Also would i still get the manufacterer warranty and service etc comes with the car purchase.

Also where is best to look for 3rd party pcp deals. There are sooo many websites doing it. Not a clue which one is good and bad. Is there a go to 3rd party finance company people generally use?

Thanks in advance for any help

Try third party finance, Forza or Magnitude are examples, makes no difference to warranty, spec etc, just means dealer sales person gets no comission on selling inflated finance deals

Shouldn't make any difference to warranty but you may find if the dealer is offering free servicing for a number of years that may be as part of a deal buying a car on their own PCP deal.

Tbh the cars i am looking at the audi q5 hybrid and mercedes glc hybrid both dont have great benifits direct from dealer. All they give is 1 year warranty and breakdown cover. So not missing much on the service side. I will most likely opt for a service plan and try and haggle a deal around it.

I bank with Lloyds and they also offer pcp on used cars. Not looked lately regards interest rates etc but on my current one, bmw managed to almost match the rate when I told them I was going to go through the bank.
