Where to test drive - dealer recommendations

Thinking of going to test drive some VW Caddy’s and Ford Grand Tourneo in the next month. Where do you go to test drive them? Is it a case of scrolling through different sites or phoning different branches to see if they have anything in?

Can get to Glasgow, Stirling, Perth and Inverness fairly easily. Any recommendations where to go or anywhere to avoid?

Parks Inverness are a decent commercial dealer as in larger so may have something to drive there.

VW commercial there is small though, may not have what you want in stock to try - so would call first.
