Historical car price data

Does anyone know if there is a way of tracking used vehicle prices over previous years? For example I've got an old 1984 Porsche 911, I don't know what it cost new but I'm interested to know roughly what the value would have been 30/20/10 years ago..

My car was a Cat C write off in 2010, however all the history has gone missing. I'm curious to know what the value was which meant it was written off
