Assigning a Private Reg

Just wanting to understand the proccess properly before I proceed.

I have a reg on retention. I have the certificate.
Mrs has a used car due imminently, purchased frrom a indy dealer.
I believe with the retention certicate and V5 or New keepers supplement I can show her as a 'nominee' and put my reg on her car.
All this can be done online 7am-7pm

I guess a new V5 would be3 issued with the private reg and sent to her address where the car is registered?

What role or control do I have thereafter? Is it still 'mine' or is that effectively giving it to her?

If it were to come off that car, who sorts that, me or the registered keeper (her)

If the vehicle is registered to someone else and you want the private number to be transferred to them - apply online or by post

Car owner also "owns" the Reg albeit loaned from DVLA.
