Hi, looking to replace our 2009 honda crv manual diesel with a newer version to tow our caravan. Would like to hear recommendations on which engine is best 2.2 or the 1.6. looking for the automatic version. Thanks
I've recently bought a 1.6 diesel auto 160 bhp crv for towing a small 2 berth, 2016 version, I don't even notice the caravan whilst towing. No experience of the 2.2, they might be a bit older.
Not looked seriously, but I understand the Automatic towing capacity is much less than the manual. Needs checking if you have a larger van. 1.6 or 2.2? In the word if Lord Jezzer Poweeeeeeer!
