Hi, just after some advice please, as couldn’t see an answer to this.
Collected a car from a dealer and on handover some basic faults were evident (no idea how they were picked up before handover - I now doubt they checked the car before selling it).

They collected the car a few weeks ago to sort out repairs, but I’m running out of patience and confidence in the car and this dealer. Concerned that if the car has these faults at handover, what else might be wrong?

I believe I can reject a car within 30 days of purchase, but is this right affected because I allowed them to start repairs?

Simple answer - yes. Because, they might be fixed now, or in between you asking for a refund and them fixing them.

You can't reject a working vehicle - and by giving them a chance to fix it, it might soon be working.

Cheers - just cannot believe how bad the service has been from the supplying dealer, or that they didn’t pick up on some basic but obvious faults before handover (had my deposit for 2 weeks…). All this from a dealer selling some of the highest end cars out there!
