Conundrum - Range Rover Sport SV, M5 Touring or 992.2 GTS
Discussion
I’m in a conundrum between a Range Rover Sport SV, M5 Touring or 992.2 GTS.
Background, two weeks ago I bought a RRS SV and to cut a long story short, it’s back with LR as it has suspension issues (the front end is loose) plus there’s another widespread known issue with the suspension.
At present, I may need to go down the rejection route, though TBC.

I previously had a Taycan CT Turbo which I loved but fancied a change. (Possibly foolishly)
Should I go down the rejection route, despite years of trouble free motoring with LR my fear is that given the low numbers and new tech on the SV, this may be a sign of things to come. Which is making me nervous about buying a different SV.
I’ve now found myself looking at M5 Touring’s and 992.2 GTS.
I’m uninspired by a Cayenne, I previously factory ordered the current model E Hybrid but it arrived and the spec wasn’t as ordered, but at the time I wasn’t wowed by it.
It would be my everyday car, any thoughts?

I’ve always felt that with LR if you get a bad one it’s a BAD one. Get a good one and they’re as reliable as any brand but the Friday afternoon lemons don’t look fun. Mine have all been perfectly fine aside from some CarPlay issues.
You’ve got such an eclectic mix of cars there that it’s almost impossible to advise which to go for. If I didn’t need the space I’d go GTS, if I needed space I’d go for the M5, if I needed space and some off-road ability I’d keep the Sport. A very nice problem to have, though.

Thanks….
I suppose ultimately, it’s subjective and the answer is, buy the one I “want”.
The SV, ticks so many boxes, I’d really like the Porsche, but not sure if it would become tiresome to use daily, possibly a bit uncomfortable and impractical. Though, probably the least likely to “s
t” itself of value.

Maybe buy 2 cars then instead of 1. I suppose ultimately, it’s subjective and the answer is, buy the one I “want”.

Panamera Sport Turismo could be the answer:I suppose ultimately, it’s subjective and the answer is, buy the one I “want”.

I did that previously, with a disco commercial and AMG GTS, space on the drive is an issue.Weekend toy and a daily.

I then bought the Taycan CT Turbo which I do love. But did what I usually do after a few years and start fancying a change, which in my mind kind of rules out a Panamera.
I went to have a look at the new M5 yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.
I’m going to try to stick with the SV, depending on the outcome of their findings today
