Looking for an upgrade but undecided between the new m3 and m4, I do like the colour on both. Especially the yellow m4 with contrasting black wheels but 2 door is not practical, the red on the m3 is very different too and I would have been fully sold on it if it had black wheels although I could just get them painted. What's everyone's thoughts?

That's a bit much, prefer the cream as above!

You know green over tan is the one though wink

2 doors are sexier than 4 doors for me though, so it is worth the compromise. Although granted I can't do a bit of taxi work on the weekends though with only 2 doors in fairness. biggrin

M3 in red & red. Much less common than the M4.

Another vote for the M3, but IOM Green is the way to go. The M4 is a pain for rear seat passengers and the doors are too long when parking in car parks. Also I think the M3 is better looking, but I might be biased

IOM green does really suit the M3 I agree. thumbup

I also agree that the long doors on the M4 are a pain in the rear in car parks too. I've spent years in Coupes so I am used to them, but they definitely get annoying at times as you say.

I often say to my missus that we just can't win when parking, because the X5 is wide, but it has the easier 4 doors though, whereas the M4 isn't wide in comparison, but it has the long doors though!

Personally I’d be happy with either and like others have said the long doors on the M4 will be a slight annoyance.

However if I had the choice it would be the M4 and that yellow looks fantastic. If you go for the more sensible option in a less bright colour you’ll regret it every day.
