HPI check

Just carried out a check and it has fraud guard incomplete. Is this normal ? because the vin number isnt registered or is it potential issue. Thanks Andy

Have you entered the VIN and V5C reference number?

I haven't got the vin or anything, The car is about 2hrs drive away.
I could obviously phone the seller.
I just wondered if this was the normal info that you would get back on an HPI check.

Haven't done one for about 25 years,
