Hello all !!!

Manheim will be collecting my car next week. They have sent a manual how to prepare the car etc. I have cleaned and valeted the car my self.
I am wondering are they going to be fussy ( as being not valeted professionally). The car was always kept clean inside anyway. I heard horror stories about them. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this.

Thanks in advance.

And you've still gone ahead with it?

Is this manheim collecting an end of lease/PCP car, or have you sold it to them?

If end of lease eg on behalf of VW, they’ll be far more lenient than you’d imagine if the car isn’t absolutely shagged.

If you’ve sold it to them, they’ll pick up all the damage, how much they knock off will depend on how attractive/in demand your particular model and car are at auction at the moment. But they’ll charge far more than an end of lease return!!

Why start a new thread rather than posting in that one?

I notice some being charged for a valet.
When my car was delivered it was like the driver had a roll on crisps.

Perhaps because they joined yesterday and didn’t realise there was an active thread?
