Hello all. it's time I replaced my wife's 80k mile 2015 VW Polo 1.2 petrol. This has been brilliant and is going to one of my sons. I'm thinking of replacing it with a new/nearly new VW Polo GTI of a Mini Clubman/Countryman. We have 2 Bearded Collies so need a reasonable boot. It looks as if I can get a new Polo GTI for around £28k on PCP which I would plan to pay off straight away subject to checking the small print in the VW Solutions paperwork. Any thoughts please ? We live in rural Cumbria and travel to London/ Hampshire about 4/5 times a year. Many thanks in advance.

two beardies, Cumbria. I cant think of a less suitable type of car than a Polo.
Small estate. Golf, Kamiq or something fits the bill way better.

They currently sit secured on a dog mat on the rear seat in the 2015 Polo and are very happy !

Ok then.

I'd assumed that they were in the boot where my dog sits. She's possibly of a similar size 20kg springerxlab.

well pretty much any car would do.

There's some good Seat Ibiza 1.5tsi offers on Drive The Deal at the moment.

What about a Skoda Scala? We bought an ex-demonstrator 5 years ago and have covered 60k in it and it’s been great. It’s longer than a hatchback (not quite an estate) but has loads of space for our dog and assorted stuff.
