cheap (4k or so) daily

Going to be selling my m140 soon. just finding I never really drive for fun, just travelling in to Edinburgh (about 12 miles), couple of short journeys between clients and back out again. Having 400bhp and supporting mods to just pootle about in eco mode seems such a waste of the car and my money. Rare I have both kids in the car, so could get away with something smaller potentially (wife has the family car). I'd like to just put some cash in to savings or my pension so looking to go much cheaper.
My requirements are:
able to fit a foldable massage table (doesn't have to be within the boot space, can have back seats folded down)
fairly hard/supportive seats
low insurance group
reliable (a bit of an obvious one maybe)
optional niceties
fun chassis
cruise control
heated seats - I'm guessing this and cruise control may be fairly unlikely though
a bit fun - something that might feel a little quicker than it is and/or fun chassis
So far my thinking has been Suzuki Swift sport, mini cooper hatch (need to see if the table would fit with the seats folded) or clubman, toyota yaris with one of the more perky engines.
No objection to petrol or diesel, or something a little larger than the above like an Astra or c'eed, i20/30 etc.

There are a few good options at this price point, the Astra GTC hits the brief especially in 1.6T form as they come with a passive setup the same as the VXR:

1,6d not as swift as the above but a good option none the less:

I fitted one of these in my nephews Astra so he had all (you wouldn't need it on the 1.6d) the connectivity he'd need:

& from what he;s said it works well.
You can get it in 2.0d form but they're euro5 only:

I had a 2014 Suzuki Swift Sport before buying my 2017 M240i. The Swift is great in that its really well equipped for a little 2014 car- Xenons, cruise, heated and folding electric mirrors ( no heated seats). My requirements are:

It is super fun on country roads, in town, roundabouts etc and reliability is a given but, i found it frustrating on longer trips, as its not quick at all ( even when caning it) , quite noisy and not that economical , as you have to drive it hard to make progress.
I do miss it though, as its a fun little car in the right place but, ultimately a big compromise overall.
If you go for something like this, you might miss the effortless power of that B58 engine but, if you don't think that will be an issue for you, then the SS is a tough, fun little car.
Tbh, I spend so little time using the power of the b58, I don't think it'll be much of an issue, the engine is probably the only reason I've not got rid before now though, it is a peach. It's very rare I do a longer journey in my car or drive for fun, on a nice day I'd go out on one of my bikes. My Mrs has an f pace for family duties (currently getting the Ingeniboom engine replaced under warranty). Don't mind going back to the slow lane for a while as long as I have reliability.
