Spotted this lurking on the bay, and whilst I do like them I'm not convinced I'd have the stones to buy one even if it were 10% of the price!

I think that is stunning...sadly, the advert would put me off more than the lack of spares availability...

Listed after a Karma for years.

I was lined up for an Ocean too until they went pop again. Such a shame!

Got to assume that was written in the seller’s native tongue and then put through (bad) translation software!

"The interior shows the atmosphere of a super luxury athlete."

Does this mean it smells of sweat? Probably from the stress of wondering what will happen if it breaks down.

I'm pretty silly (not brave) where cars are concerned but I wouldn't touch that. I watched a couple of episodes of Hoovies Garage o9n Youtube when he bought a Fisker and parts availability and support appears to be pretty much zero. He found a community of owners who were trying to keep them running but it seems a bit of a lost cause when things go wrong

45 grand seems a lot of money for that.

Even setting aside support issues, you can get a Rapide S of similar age and mileage for that money. So what's it to be, an Aston Martin V12... or an Astra engine?

Or if you want lower running costs, you can get a Taycan.

Or if you want an orphaned product from a failed American startup led by a colourful CEO, at least the DeLorean has those doors and that film behind it.

Even if it doesn't break irreparably, I don't see what the upside is. It won't sound great, it's not that quick, it won't handle that well at 2.4 tonnes, and it's LHD.

And then factor in that Fisker went broke because their battery supplier failed, due to the cost of all the recalls on their battery packs. And that the fire that cost them a batch of cars was started due to one car being flooded with seawater (a risk that other EVs, at least the Zoe, are carefully protected against).

The other one in the UK, with much lower mileage, sold for £25k in March
https://www.carandclassic.com/auctions/2012-fisker...

So I dunno, £18k-20k maybe? Still more than I'd pay but seems that's where the market is.
