Took wife to look at cars - may need a divorce!

We have a Karoq which is proving to be just a little too small. I had started looking at alternatives and, being retired, find it harder to nip into a dealer to look.
We had some time in Barnsley this morning so on one site managed to look at some of the options. The Bigster isn’t as big as I thought it would be but would be big enough, the Tucson is no bigger than what we have. The problem is that she likes the third option the MG HS😟😟
Others to consider- needs to be manual, petrol, suv and more space inside than a Karoq. She knows that eventually she will need to move to auto but at 66 has never driven one and is uneasy even to try. Budget can be seen in the range between the Bigster and the Tucson.

We looked at the MG before getting a Bigster.
Admittedly we were getting something as a spare “sensible” car rather than looking for motoring nirvana but I didn’t find much to like with the MG. The Dacia isn’t going to win awards for luxury, quality, refinement or sophistication but it felt in a different class to the MG for me. It probably helps that we’ve had a few years of previous positive experience with Dacia as well.

I second this.I drove one this week, and was impressed over the previous one's.
The old one though is still one of the most utterly hateful cars I've driven and that goes for the manual and the auto- both are awful.
My brother has just gone from a ‘19 X5 to a brand new MG HS. He much prefers the MG!

If she likes the karoq what about a kodiaq or even a Tiguan or Tiguan all space?
I had a MG HS hire car which seemed nice on the surface but it had some infiltrating issues, when you chose the next radio station it swapped from DAB to fm, and it was a brand new car, pressing the button for the cruise control bought up the 3 lines to set the speed but then it would not set the speed, no volume knob either was very annoying
It did feel like a nicer product than Kia’s that I had driven, and I think better than a Ford kuga, I’m just not sure it’s 100% there
