Have a good look underneath though, seen some badly corroded subframes on some.
Another Corolla owner here.
I have 2.0 GR Sport. Owned from new and just paid off the balloon because I can’t think of anything better to replace it.
Brilliant car, does everything I need it to. Still have 6 1/2 years warranty on it too.
As said above, not the most exciting drive but I have something else for the weekends.

I've got a 1ltr petrol i30 tourer and having bought it at 37K miles 6 years ago it's now on 102K. Usual consumables aside it's done me very well on a mix of local journeys and a monthly shlep down south and back in a day where it will do 600 miles on a tankfull. Overall average is around 52 mpg but I do live in a very hilly area
It's not at all fashionable or dynamic but it gets the job done

I m contemplating chopping my GR Yaris against one of these as I need something bigger, and more economical. Do you mind sharing what the economy and drive is actually like day to day. I realise it s not very exciting but does it feel quick enough when needed?I have 2.0 GR Sport. Owned from new and just paid off the balloon because I can t think of anything better to replace it.
