For my "daily" beside my newly acquired Maserati Gransport. It's insurance policy requires one. I've got an MG4 on lease going back in June and given I probably dont do 4k miles between both cars another EV lease seems unnecessary. So why not get something else interesting.

Requirements:

- not too silly to insure and tax: a london postcode and at fault write off claim to declare makes the usual performance suspects expensive to insure (e.g. 1.6k for an M4 or similar). But left field things can be more acceptable eg an Arnage for 700....
- ULEZ compliant
- not too large to make parking when running errands a nightmare. Otherwise id buy an Arnage or an XJR.
- something id be okay driving in the winter / crap weather.
- enough space for four adults and a suitcase in the boot would probably make it more practical

That's about it. Dont really care about mpg, happy to take risks on reliability etc. Want something interesting for some reason whether thats engine, design or whatever.

I know a Golf R or some other hot hatch would be the obvious choice but doesnt make my heart sing. Some thoughts are a Subaru Forester STI, a Jeep Wrangler, or even a Bentley Continental....

What a fabulous list. I will work through carefully. I was looking at the Infiniti Q50 thinking it looked a bloody bargain.
