So I m currently in talks with Mercedes about a 19 plate C63s at 47kmiles for £41,850. I ve negotiated hard tbh and the final offer they ve given me is £41,850 with free delivery to my house ( would cost £800) , free ceramic coating exterior and interior (worth £999) and of course it comes with full merc service history and 2yrs warranty.
With all that been said am I been ripped off as of course with getting it from Mercedes it ll run perfect and I get 2yrs warranty.
Please let me know your opinions.

Nothing useful to add except I'm going to use "I'm in talks with x" the next time I buy a car. I'll use it between the phone call to book to see the car and the actual seeing the car.

What?

I'd be tempted if it was my sort of car ..... you've got them to take £5K off, .... but I wouldn't want a ceramic coated interior. With all that been said am I been ripped off as of course with getting it from Mercedes it ll run perfect and I get 2yrs warranty.

Value of ceramic coating depends on the paint prep done beforehand being any good. I had it chucked in for free once and they did it in half an hour - worthless.
This. I'd be tempted to ask if you can leave the coating off and get £1000 off their offer...I already know their answer.

I’ve had a look and surely that’s not right it’s saying £33-35k. There’s not 1 C63s in the country with a 19 plate and under 48k miles for that price lol. I’ve looked everywhere and the average is £40-43k. Edited by Stevey101 on Monday 9th February 19:37

There's about 5 different prices presented (trade poor, trade average, trade good, private, retail/forecourt). Are you comparing like-for-like?Edited by Stevey101 on Monday 9th February 19:37
When they pull the silver car cover off in the showroom, check, check, check it over again.
Buying from Mercedes UK you'd think nothing could be better but my E-Class turned out to have:
NOT been through the 121 point check.
13 different 121 check faults including a cracked wheel.
Had half the car repainted, badly, noticed when a chunk of paint fell off the bonnet a few weeks later.
No V5C as this was still with the former keeper.
Merc UK corrected all 13 faults and asked me if I'd keep it if they repainted it. They did an "as new" paint job which kept the 30 year paint warranty.
They recovered the V5C and the transfer was completed.
Soon after, it rained. Water dripped from the soft top onto my right elbow... I'd had enough.
They bought it back from me after 5 months for what I'd paid.

I had a not to dissimilar experience when buying an estate c63 form Mercedes. Arrived at the dealer on the day of collection having waiting 2 weeks to find it wasn't MOTd or had the new tyres fitted either. In my case I believe this was all part of the ruse to delay me seeing the car, having flown over from Ireland to collect it.
Expensive lesson on my behalf and a pity as it was one car I intended keeping.

Wow! That’s bad. I’m just frightened of buying from an indie dealership as I’ve not had great experiences in the past, most recently with my F83 M4. I bought it from an indie dealer and months later found out it had a diff leak and I caught it by a week or it would have seized and all the seals bad (leaked in water).
