I’m looking at buying a car from them and I literally cannot get through to speak to anyone; phone rings and rings and cuts off.

I did speak to someone several days ago but no responses to emails.

They don’t read their WhatsApp messages.

It’s all very frustrating.

I always think if it's that hard when you want to buy from them then what chance do you have if you have an issue post purchase?

That’s a concern for sure.

Thats the first thing that entered my head too. Chances of getting their attention for a fault or warranty issue must be less than zero if they can't respond to a purchase enquiry. I avoid companies like this.

I'd avoid Sytner Select like the plague.

We bought a Smart Four 4 three yeasrs back (when they were called Carshop).

If came with free MOT for life, but try to book it in. This year it too 6 calls, 5 service contacts via the website, followed by a vist, only to be greeted by a shrug from the woman on the ervice desk & a "what do you expect, I'm busy"

I simply wouldn't deal with a business that made me feel like this before buying.

I purchased a Focus ST a few years ago from them. One of the keys didn't work, they replaced the battery on collection and still didn't work but they agreed (luckily in writing) to repair/replace. Found it had been dropped in a puddle so was £200 from Ford for a replacement. Once confirmed back to them they tried everything to get out of paying out. I wouldn't recommend personally, especially if having the issues contacting them to purchase let alone have any issues after.
