Get car with the tow bar included in the manufacturers build. I specced a tow bar on my BMW 440.

When I look at sites like Lease Loco there is no option, can you suggest good sites to visit

Leaseloco, leasing.com, whatcar leasing. When you've found the dela you want, call up and ask how much a tow bar would be on top.

N.B. you'll probably have to pay for the whole cost of the tow bar during the lease and it would most likely be a factory order.

One of my sailing mates used to have aftermarket towbars fitted to his repmobiles back in the day.
I guess, as the cars had >100k miles on when returned after 2 or 3 years, and the company was a valued fleet buyer, there might have been some flexibility.
It's not the worst abuse of lease or even hire cars I know of!

Spec at the start of the lease. Don’t add after unless you plan to remove it before lease end. They don’t take well to non OE bits being fitted.

This, i have 2 leased cars, one of which i already had when the need for a towbar was apparent. The lease firm said i could put one on but would have to take it off before returning.
The newer car ( toyota EV) was specced with one without any issue - it added about £10 a month to the lease - which i thought was reasonable bearing in mind typical tow bar costs

Not true. I've had cars leased and fitted towbars and they've been absolutely fine with it; I've left them on at lease end. Alphabet and Lex Autolease were two of the companies concerned.
