Fit an electronic butterfly valve before the resonator and pipe it out the side. Can adjust the volume and noise via switch to whatever takes your fancy at the time.

Valves are about £250 and another £200 to get it welded up by a pro.

Hi All

I ve got a facelift A35 at the moment, I love the car,but since the introduction of OPF etc I quite fancy swapping for something with a bit more of a sportier sounding exhaust, I had a Megane RS before the A35 which always holds a place in my heart as it had the pops and bangs when I wanted and the exhaust sounded raspy, The Merc has the pumped in sounds now too, I fancy a car with a nice tone outside as well as in, Any suggestions ? Thanks ??
Just change the actual exhaust (much cheaper than changing the car) some people have just used the RPM style exhaust that loses the back box.

I've found this a little to boomy for me but a system with a smaller box seems to be the sweet spot imo, also getting the fake noise turned off has a good side effect off making the stereo sound better.
