Hoping for some help.
I’ve never leased a car before.
I was looking at leasing a ford kuga. But apparently they only allow you to take it abroad for maximum 30 days.
Is this a common clause?
I need to be able to take it abroad for up to 90 days.

I'm not sure how they'd even know if you did? As long as you can get insurance cover for that long (you'd want fully comp I assume), because that's often limited to 28 / 30 days to allow for extended holidays. smile Breakdown cover may not extend that much abroad either.

You have to apply for the VE103R so they will need to know. Only had one from Lex but don't recall being limited to 30 days although only once did we just breach that. A quick google suggests it does vary across companies and I'd imagine the bigger operations certainly have some customers with such a need.

This is from Alphabet (The leasing company I use)

"The VE103 Certificate is valid for a year, however the driver can travel for no more than 90 consecutive days outside of the United Kingdom. If they need to extend this they will need to discuss this with their fleet/driver services and speak to their insurers."

Can’t help on the leasing q but as regards Insurance as stated already “most “ standard Insurers and policies limit foreign travel to 90 days over the 12 months.
