Hi Folks

I'm thinking of selling my 2011 Seat Ibiza and buying a new used car from perhaps a dealer.


Do you suggest that I part exchange my old model or sell it privately, which may be more of a hassle but could get more money for the car?

You could also get a price for the existing car from the likes of WBAC or Motorway just to give you a potential third choice.
Easiest solution would be part ex but that assumes dealer happy to give you what you want which would be akin to the WBAC price or perhaps a tad more depending on how good you are at negotiation / what you are trading it against.
Private sale would probably realise the most but as you say can be hassle.

In my experience do whatever it takes to avoid dealing with the general public ! So px or WBAC .
