I’m looking at buying a 2009 Audi S3 from WR car sales in Bradford. It’s got 51k miles and is imported from Japan. Just wanted to know if anyone knows anything about this dealership. Is it legit? Are there cars any decent? Etc
Thanks

Its Bradford, probably not wink just tread very very carefully. Ask for the import docs etc and look for the mileage on them

I thought the first rule of car buying was to not buy from Bradford? The second being not buying from Keighley.

My opinion; just don’t.

It's a modified import in bright orange from a Bradford dealer. Very little to go against it I'd say.

Given that Bradford is pretty much the bastion of all forms of vehicle related fraud, deception and artifice I'm not sure it would be too difficult to knock up a few fake reviews for a car dealer.

AA approved means very little at a car dealership it’s all marketing. They will approve pretty much anyone who they can get a business agreement with, it’s no guarantee of quality

According to the Logbook on YouTube (car dealer also in Bradford funnily enough) his videos show the AA doing a pretty thorough inspection of each car in his stock to gain "AA Approved" status.

I'd also always assumed it was just a marketing gimmick with no real guarantee of quality, I find it hard to believe they inspect EVERY car of EVERY dealer that holds AA Approved status.

Every time I see a performance car for sale from Bradford, Luton, Keighley, Birmingham, Leeds etc etc all I can think of are these clowns.

Seems they've been around a while - thread asking about them here in 2013.
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Although that thread was in 2013, and the Companies House says they were incorporated in 2016.

When you look at 'performance' cars, the cheapest are always from Motor Hub in Keighley...i worked in that town for 4 years...dont bother.

There was an accident a while back in Leeds IIRC, where some lads wrapped a BMW 1 series around a tree and came off second best……..well dead actually.

He ended up being arrested for drug dealing and some of the driving offences IIRC.

He'll have been out for a while now though.and it's probably no coincidence new content started to appear.

It's not like he's doing anything out of the ordinary, go to certain roads and locations in and around Bradford and Keighley and you'll see examples of exactly this type of driving multiple times throughout the day.

Don't be surprised if the car is:
1. paint work is scrappy
2. interior is rubbish
3. Engine is shot
4. Gearbox is on it's way out
5. They have a copy of the keys then one day the car is gone
6. Car has been driven to the end of it's life

Having seen the "owners" drive the cars they buy on the streets, let's just say, they are thrashed around Bradford and Keighley like they stole it.
