Best reliable place to buy a used car B45 area

Avoid the 1.2 puretech/1.0 ecoboost engines, the ecoboosts are actually okay if they've been looked after BUT changing the wet belt could cost you anywhere from £700-1200 to change so I'd factor that in.
It depends on your budget & what you're looking at, most cars are reliable as long as they've been maintained, always buy on condition/check the MOT history/receipts (if there are no receipts it hasn't been done) check everything twice don't be afraid to buy privately.

Hi, I’m checking all mot history, fsh etc.. but it’s going to be a first car which I want to know it’s reliable.
Ds3 1.2 with a budget of around £3000 which for a 2015 plate seems to be the going rate, I’m willing to go private if car seems good, test drive isn’t bouncy etc..
looking in auto trader anything that seems 1/2 decent is 30+ miles away.

This place seems to have some nice looking cars, they all look well presented and described.

As has been mentioned previously, do not buy a car with a 1.2 Puretech engine. With the budget you have you’re just asking for trouble.Ds3 1.2 with a budget of around £3000 which for a 2015 plate seems to be the going rate, I m willing to go private if car seems good, test drive isn t bouncy etc..
