I've decided I'd like a second car as a bit of a weekend toy for enjoying B-roads. I've narrowed it down to either an Abarth 500 or NC MX-5 2.0 with Hardtop.
I know they are very different cars in their approach to having fun but both seem to come highly recommended from their respective communities and have a good array of parts and seem relatively inexpensive to repair or modify.
I know corrosion can be an issue for both these models and sadly I don't have a garage to store it in over the colder damper months.
Is there anything else I should consider? I'm after something a bit old school and analogue with a budget of £5k. I've done all the Clio RS range over the years and wanted something different.
If you own either the 500 or MX-5 what made you choose that car?
