I've got the XC70 on Autotrader atm. As usual Autotrader gives you as seller anonymised telephone no. and email. I've had some calls and an email, all of which seemed very keen to get my mobile number in one way or another. What's occurring?

Although there is no extra charge for the seller or buyer, what's the betting that Autotrader get call termination fees, tiny as they may be - Every Little Helps.

Still not sure the angle, but problem solved anyway as the car sold last night to its first viewer (a proud record - or maybe I'm underpricing my cars! biggrin) whose enquiry was obviously genuine from the first email, who drove across last night and we did the deal.

No more calls from people who clearly haven't read the unusually detailed advert, and/or appear to be in call centres, and who are insistent that they can't phone me via the Autotrader number, and I simply must text them, or WhatsApp them, and, and...
