What are some non German crossovers good at overtaking?

I am split between the 2.5NA CX-30, 2.0 Lexus UX and 2.0 Honda ZRV, but I am not sure which can easily (as far as crossovers go) go from 55-70 when overtaking. Understandably they will be weaker than their equivalent hatchbacks and less impressive than the Germans X1, Q3, GLA or even T-Roc but how do they compared between each other if you have driven and the likes of Citroen C4, Peugeot 3008, Renault Capture, XC40.

I used to really enjoy overtaking in my Fiesta ST and generally being a complete idiot. Unfortunately, since buying an mx5 2 years ago I haven't really been able to overtake anyone due to its pathetic 2.0NA engine with no torque. Obviously I have far better handling then everyone one else but that's little use because frankly overtaking in corners is dangerous. I did get the drop on a big German SUV once but sadly it turned out to be a police car. They let me off and were actually quite impressed that my feeble Mazda managed to get past their muscular X5 diesel. I think they were too embarrassed to report me.
The German SUVs do have an advantage when it comes to overtaking. Firstly you never know if they are cops. Also nobody expects them to indicate which saves them some time. I think the feeling of superiority and importance also gives their owners the confidence to treat other road users like dirt.
If you don't want a German SUV their are some other good options. I have found over the years that cars with the most power are best at overtaking. You could go British with something like a Jag F pace SVR. Or the American Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is quite nippy with its 6.2 V8. Maybe an Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio would allow a stylish overtake and most people wouldn't mind you passing them at all. I would avoid the French options. Their squishy suspension and Ooo la la character make them best suited to relaxed cruising. Also they are unreliable so you risk breaking down mid overtake which could be disastrous. The Japanese cars you mentioned are also not great. Like my mx5 their just too slow. I can't think of any Japanese SUVs that do 60 in under 4 seconds so forget it.
Maybe look at an EV? Tesla model Y ludicrous could work and noone will hear you coming.

Unfortunately, I understand I can get good performance from a bigger SUV like the X5 you mentioned but I prefer a smaller form factor in a car and also as I said I try to a old German as I prefer to buy a car that is not brand new more like 4-5 year old and 60,000 odd miles on the odometer and drive it for at least as many years and many miles and I am afraid that the Japanese are the only who make as durable cars. Now I understand the correlation - no turbo = more longevity, but less overtaking power yet I want to find a sweet sport CUV.
