okay i know 5 pot , and the usual suspect , currently i got an amg gla 35 2021 with 306hp , not that happy need more power , thinking to swap it with the 2021 gla 45s 421hp , or make the move and go for the rs3 8y with the 5 pot 400hp , any opinion ?

my concern are the roads where i live are a bit rubbish , i really like the height of the GLA 35 which is the same for the 45s , but i really love the sound of the rs3 , i'm on a big dilemma , i'm not sure if performance wise the gla 45s will be sufficient ,but i think it will be enough !
don't know how it will be again with low hatch 400hp at these roads , it will be not the daily car only 14 days per month as i work abroad ..

i don't like rsq3

Changing car to the same model for a 30% power bump seems a bit crazy.
Is there anything else you dont like?

Not sure what you would be doing with the car that means 306hp is 'not enough'?

In that case then just get as powerful an electric car as possible, a KIA EV6 GT or similar. Clearly handling dynamics are not at the top of your priorities if you are driving a GLA

I don't agree with that but the drivetrain on the RS is better, inside it's close.

Why not go for the RS Q3?

i don't really like rsq3 it's quite big and more suv style , which i hate , that's why i have the gla it looks more compact and a bit more hatchback style .

to be fair i like the small sporty hatchback ..

It sounds like your priorities are speed, noise and comfortable ride.
A four cylinder car is never going to make a good noise.
Out of your suggestions I’d go RS3 on that basis.
However, your budget sounds pretty healthy and for noise and comfortable ride it may be worth considering the ‘segment’ up especially if you’re keen on the Germans.
Let us know budget and requirements as there are lots of good options (IE do you need space/kids etc )

Then id get the RS3. Id not be changing the warm version of a car for the hot version. Especially when youre already not too fond of the warm version.

In my experience the RS3 drives better than the A45s and the GLA45s.

GLA is again more compact than the RSQ3 which I would pit more against a GLC63 or an X3M Comp.

I also think reliability wise the Audi RS3 is much more solid we have had a fair few issues with the A250/A35 engine on models we sell.
