Should I repair before selling?

I'm going to be selling our car over the next couple of months, most likely on Motorway, and just trying to make it as saleable as possible without spending too much money. It's got a cracked bumper and just wondering whether it's a no brainer to get it fixed. I've been quoted £350 for the repair which seems reasonable, and thinking this could be a major haggling point and could result in having to drop the price considerably. What's everyone's thoughts?

It's a G21 330i Touring. Would be happy if I get over £20k for it.

On a £2k car I would leave it, on a £20k car i would fix, it will cause some to walk away and others to try and knock the price down... Easier to fix

If it were mine, I would do it myself but I do realise not everyone can.

As someone said above, it really depends on the going rate for the car.

Yes repair but dont spend 350.

Get a smart repair to get you over the line when selling.

I would be getting that repaired. Says a lot about the way the car has been cared for.

Repair. The hit you will take on selling price for what is still an expensive car will be disproportionate.
People/dealers will want thousands of pounds off.

I'd definitely get it fixed as its a £20k car, Id personally be looking for at least £500 off it if I was to buy it...
I'm not too sure its a smart repair as its cracked, happy to be proven otherwise....

I think it's doable with a hot staple kit to hold it together.

£350 is a fair price especially when they'll be taking the bumper to do that job properly.

Repair it, otherwise it could be potentially listed on Motorway as a lower grade, which will make some trade buyers pass it over.

Get it repaired. But are you prepared to lie about any part damage if you have a so-called smart repair?
Once you accept lesser repairs, your whole attitude of care and diligence to the car drops noticeably, and it will most likely show.

I'm all for spending as little as possible on a car before sale but I would agree on something like that it makes sense to get it done.
I would see if a cheaper smart repair is possible though.
