Budget ~£28k, both cars I'm targeting are 2024-registered with comparable mileage so genuinely stuck.

• Cars specifically:

- Peugeot e-5008 GT, 73kWh, standard range
- Mercedes EQB 250+, 70.5kWh (indifferent to trims)

- Buying outright, hoping to keep 7+ years
- Third row needed occasionally, not daily

• Use case:

- Family of 4 + a labrador, near Reading
- ~55 mile round-trip commute, 3 days/week, mostly motorway
- School runs, 5–7 miles daily
- One Cornwall trip a year (~260 miles each way), car fully loaded
- One European road trip a year, self-drive
- Driveway with 7kW charger, plus solar — charging is not a constraint
- Keeping an old Prius as backup for longer trips if needed

Based on Safety, value for money, ongoing maintenance/servicing cost and long-term depreciation which one should I go for
