How about something with a little more class and a tad older, such as a Cayenne GTS (958.1 V8 or 958.2 V6 TT), or even a Cayenne Turbo.

They are incredibly capable machines with air supension and PDCC options, a far nicer place to be than an X3M and ride a hell of a lot better than that hard jiggly thing!

I recently had the same thought process and funnily enough ended up buying a Cayenne 958.1 GTS as suggested above. Lovely place to be, fast, interesting, good to drive. I paid 19k for a 37k mile japanese import but will probably spend the other £21k on petrol this year......

Isn't the SQ5 the X3 equivalent or are you just considering different sized options.

F-pace SVR as per ZX above was the first thing that came to mind, I can't get excited by the German equivalents in comparison but each to their own.

Maserati Levante? Trim and spec vary hugely.

This one is near me and I'm thinking "£26k for a V6, pan roof, main dealer, px the Volvo..." biggrin

The Levante definitely needs the V6S engine at least.

I like the RSQ8 thing or this:

I think you want something with presence and noise, so at least a V8 of some description, as speed wise they’re all too fast and ultimately a waste of time.

More space for the husky

Xc90 T8. Ideally with a smattering of polestar mapping from the dealer

Too big? Get an XC60 T8

I had an X3M for 4 years. Didn’t find the ride jiggly at all. I’d have another one like a shot. Epic engine.
