2017/18 Hyundai Kona 1.0
Discussion
Anyone run one? I'm led to believe they're very well thought of. I'm tasked with finding something for an elderly female acquaintance after her car was written off.
I know about the actuator rattle ( and the fix ) and the potential for cam chain issues, which is potentially about a grand to put right when required, but is there anything else any long term owners have experienced that would be of benefit to be aware of?
I've found one locally at an independent for less than 7k with FSH and 48k miles. It's seems like a basic model, but seems to have most things necessary other than sat nav, which won't be an issue to the potential owner.

Wouldn't be buying a Hyundai of that vintage. Would an Aygo not fit the bill?
What do you know that I don't? Genuine question, I'll need to talk her out of it, she likes it. I like Toyotas very much, but the Hyundai seemed to do very well in reviews, so I didn't see any reason to pass.Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
