Hi all,
Excuse me if this is duplication... I have looked.
Just wondering if Tusker charge the same prices to all companies or if they are better to some than others.
Appreciate that tax etc can differ but the gross shouldn't? (Right?)
For example the Model Y perf on our work Tusker is near as dammit £1590 (gross) a month - I've changed the postcode from Scotland (home) to Yorkshire (parents) and it changed by about £15 a month (gross).
This is 3 years 10k.
Just be interested if anybody can be bothered on Tusker and other schemes to check what the gross cost is and it should be a fair comparison.
Thanks in advance

Tried to do a comparison but I don't have the option for the performance so here is the closest I can get

Model Y Dual motor premium long range
stealth grey
black interior
19" alloys
No towing package
no 7 seat option
small courtesy car
premier independent servicing
36 months
10k miles

Monthly gross = £1068

Cheers
We may of course have the same employer.
I'm in "aviation"
Don't really rate Tusker prices, major profit being made and always about £5 less than going via a garage but includes servicing (none!) and tyres (not many) and insurance (pretty cheap).
Preferred zenith back in the day. And their weekend test drives

1039 for me

Guess that difference could be insurance

Insurance is a good shout for leading to differences; it's just possible that 'lifestyle protection' aka the scheme absorbing the cost of vehicles being returned early when people leave jobs could be another variable between companies.

Good point.
Do Tusker do different policies for different companies?
Our setup is fairly hefty penalties to give back early unless you're leaving or retiring.
Meanwhile you have to beg for new tyres unless they are exactly 2mm or less.

I think it's the same for us.

My thought was that when people leave the company and hand back the car at no charge, that's a cost to the scheme. It's possible that Tusker have stats from HR about how often this is likely to happen, and adjust lease costs accordingly - so companies with high retention rates might get slightly lower monthlies. I don't know that they do this, and even if they do I don't expect it would drive a big difference to be honest - I guess insurance is a bigger variable based on age and address.

On the prices I think that it's a matter of chasing the deal rather than a specific car - e.g. a Polestar 4 Performance would be £1178 pcm for me, so a chunk cheaper than the Tesla.

PS there is a general thread for Salary Sacrifice Leasing if you've not seen it.

Tusker are not too picky on tyres. They changed mine with plenty of tread on the main grooves, it was just everything else that had work away, still very legal though.

I hadn't seen it. Thank you.
Yes I just really fancied the YPerf.
Then remembered that when we moved to Tusker from Zenith they seemed cheap for a while but quickly became not cheap. And we could still run quotes on zenith and they were a lot less.
Hence me asking around.
Tusker are definitely tight with tyres, maybe I need to use a different kwik fit!!
Cheers

Tusker have never been great for Tesla Performance variants.

They used to do the performance version of the Seal for £400 when a M3P was £1200.

They're quite similar cars.

£54k over 36 months and 30,000 miles, for a car listing at £62k? eek

The lease prices on Performance models have always been crazy though when compared to the Premium

My point exactly.the gross is almost £600 a month more than what they're (probably) paying Tesla.
Jokers.
And the pence per mile charge is more, which is clear robbery!! Only by a couple of pence but still.
