Depends really. I'd rather have a Golf R than a dag dag SLK, but then again I rather have a SLK AMG than a Golf TDi.

Depressing that you consider a 2 seat diesel is comparable to a 5 seat 300bhp 4 wheel drive hatchback. I'd have a 2 seat rwd drive roadster at the drop of a hat if my circumstance were different, and if they were, a diesel SLK would be very much at the bottom of the list.

It's not, they're just only doing proper business leases on it now. A personal lease is £409pcm (inc vat and deposit) on the Golf R - 24 months at 8,000 miles pa.

I don't understand - the spec on that lease deal does not include leather seats or sat nav, both of which standard on an A6 SE Ultra. How do they even do that, are they special order? Or are the brokers making the assumption that you'll spec them and they'll inflate the cost, ie. the headline deal is something they can't even provide.

My dad has just signed upto 2yrs £249/month, 3 months down, Skoda Yeti, Laurent & Klement spec, 170tdi 4motion.

Don't ask about the admin fee. It's £40k but you can probably get the broker to waive it.

If looking for a deal on Merc E Class estate (or C Class if no good deals on the E). Must be AMG spec and preferably 250 but would consider a 220 if the price was right. Anyone seen anything?

That's for a business lease, which works out at £288psm (inc vat & deposit). The same car from the same broker on a personal lease basis is £400 pcm (inc vat & deposit).

Anyone got links to cheap personal leases? The assumption of just adding back the vat is proving incorrect on pretty much every deal where I've made a more detailed enquiry.

Thanks for that. Really want an estate but the BMW deal is tempting. Only problem with the BMW is that I reckon I'd need to add some spec which would bump the cost a bit. Merc E Class is a bit better specced as standard so wouldn't need to add anything.
