We are looking for a hybrid either large hatchback or SUV if we decide to go the big car route or coupe if we decide to keep our old estate

We have had terrible experiences with electric cars over the last year. ( we were lucky to borrow the firms electric bmw ) in terms of charging points and range etc and we have had and enjoyed hybrid company cars in the past. As we will be semi-retiring soon I am looking for reliable good looking hybrid that as I said is either practical as well ( hatcback/suv ) or sporty looking (coupe etc )

We will only do about 8k miles per year and majority of those less that 100 miles

Thanks

Why do you want or need a hybrid? At sub 8k your fuel cost isn't going to be that much.

Thats an excellent question and I'm going to give you probably silly answers

1. We wanted to do something for the environment
2. We like the extra power the hybrid gives you (my wife has had two hybrid company cars)
3. As with above the hybrids have been a lot quieter than even petrols
