Just thought I would post up a few pics of my colour change that happened quite recently.
Not sure if I prefer it over the original colour yet, so thought i'd ask for the general opinion?
Flamesuit donned incase this gets slated......as it is a wrap!

Can you guess what the original colour was??? laugh

Yes that is carbon wrapped splitters boxedin so is the spoiler and the wing mirrors boxedin

Cheers

Yeah, I think the red is letting it down.

Otherwise, it looks awesome.

I thought the red lights would get some stick to be honest.
The guys who did it told me on the day I picked it up that they just found out they can do a dark tinted wrap for the covers, but I was a bit unsure of any legal issues with this?
A few people have said that they actually like the lights in red, but not so sure myself so will either remove the covers and get them wrapped or go for the dark tint.
M400 pods are on the list of 'to do' and will probably be carbon wrapped to match the other bits! Think they would finish it off nicely.

Looks superb but agree with red light comments. Dark tint or can you get some sort of removeable covers?

red could work, but theme needs to be carried through. Maybe red wing and mirrors.

Why didn't you get the door handles colour-coded? Would have looked much better imo. Lose the red head-lights!

Lokks great, don't go much on the red though. IIRC a couple of the very last cars had the windscreen pillars body colured as aell, would like to see that.
Without being rude, what sort of costs are invloved in something like this, and what happens to door shuts etc?

Get the covers off and paint the light surround black, tinting the covers will just give you dark red lights, or if you go very dark you'll get pulled as not enough light will shine through.
Also if you ever get bored and want the car red again, the black surrounds won't look out of place wink

And wrap the pods white, please!

I like that, although not sure about the red lights. As already suggested it might look better if there was more 'red bits', perhaps a stripe of some sort along with red mirrors and wheels.

It is a nightmare to get the lenses off, if you are contemplating painting the bezel inside, them i would carefully cute them out as close as possible to the clam and the glue them back in after, the sealant strip will on top will then create a finish and cover over the joint.

I was told by the guys that the material would be a rubbish finish if they did the door handles. Plus I think it needs some black bits as everything white could be a bit too much?

Not too sure about adding more red bits, don't know if i'm brave enough biggrin think I'll probably just do something about the lights and stick to black and white colour scheme.

Door shuts and sills have been done too, cost extra mind. Cost tends to vary quite significantly depending on where you go. Is it ok to disclose cost on here or should I do that by pm?

Without sounding dumb, whats contravision? read

It's the film that you can see through one way, but not the other. They use them for building wraps so that the people can see out, but you just see an advert from outside.

It's the red that spoils it. I'd not try to do red elsewhere to compensate IMHO.
