Doing my final checks before Silverstone tomorrow and noticed it missing. Not the screw on part, but the rubber cap with AP logo that sits on top.

Just wondering if anybody can tell me if it is important and if so does anybody have a spare please?

Hoping this isn't going to mess up my day tomorrowfrown

The cap forms a seal over the float (low fluid level) warning system in the master cylinder - I think the only issue would be whether a small amount of brake fluid could slop out under hard braking/cornering etc. Might be worth putting a bit of tape/clingfilm over this area just in case.

Thanks BobE, as I drove out this afternoon found it sitting under the car with no idea how it got there.

Thanks anyway.
