have noticed there is some play on the passenger front wheel... thought it might be the ball joints but they seem to be ok.
could it be play in the bearing as noticed someone has had a go at undoing it from the rear and sheared off the bolt head...
Would replacing the bearing cure the play?
Also noticed the wishbone at the bottom where the suspension is mounted has cracked.
Does any one know where to get hold of the parts im going to need to fix?

I don't want to state the obvious but could it be the hub nut (if not upgraded to Porsche ones) or the wheel loose?

Porsche nuts are for the rear not the front.

If the head of the bolt has really been sheared off I`d be very careful as this forms the front stub axle and if it is allowed to move longitudinally you will loose not only the bearing locations but the front wheel.....

Isn't the inside a large hex head? Am sure mine are.

thanks for advice guys,
It is the hex bolt which is sheared in half it still has the main part of the bolt holding it all together just the part of the head missing so is going to be a job to get apart...i have tightened it as much as i can but for pease of mind i will replace the hub and bearing...just need to find out whether the stub axle is supplied seperate to the hub.

Took the suspension bolt out the wishbone seems fine... just had a little notch in it where someone has proberly hit it with a chisel... couldn't tell it wasn't a crack until i removed the retaining bolts.
