Turbo question
Discussion
My garage has now fitted my 28 turbos and I was told by Trevor to "electronically disconnect the boost solenoid on the manifold. This will put it running in wastegate mode" so would be ok to drive up for remap. In laymens terms, does this mean electrically disconnect wires to solenoid rather than plug into laptop and disconnect??

I seem to have a switch that doesn't do a lot. Is this normal on a 3R?
Yep switch is redundant as standard, Some say that it was going to be a Hi/Lo boost switch and then Noble decided not to fit it.People have used it to what they felt best.
Some have wired it as a Hi/Lo.
Mine turns on the gearbox pump.
Matty.

Is it really that simple? Looks like I've found a use for that extra switch on the dash at last.
And theres me thinking that Kevins ingenious use of the horn button to use as high and low boost was something to behold, a wiring and engineering master piece!!!
I think the question Kevin asked before we left the pit at Silverstone was, "high or low boost Paul" I laughed, then grinned all the way!!

Pleased you enjoyed low boost Paul & good luck with your dyno session with Trevor.

!!!! I feel betrayed lol, how the f
k do you put the power with 600 mules, carefully I would emagine
Now the turbos are fitted, can't wait to get the thing remapped. Quite impressed with the power it still has on low boost.Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
