Ok so I did brands this evening and after about 7-10 laps the oil temp went up to 130 on the dial! What's the max it can go up to before letting it cool down. I'm using helix ultra 5-40w?

know nothing about nobles but excesses of 120deg in oil temps would have me reaching for 50 weight oil........

So should I change oil? It seems strange for molevalley to reccomend only that oil. Any1 else have this problem? How did you stop it?

It's probably just normal M400 oil temperatures!!!
Look at getting the oil cooler repositioned to the front, in the mean time short shift & use the torque not revs when on track

Shell Helix Ultra 5/40 is absolutely fine. The reason for the high oil temp (and 130degrees is high) is almost undoubtably due to continuous high revs. As GTO600 suggests use the copious amount or torque to haul you round and use your brake pedal rather than gears to slow. Using 1 or 2 gears lower will get you round a circuit a lot quicker and cooler smile

+1 -- also, the measured oil temp may be "artificially" high because the temp sensor in the sump is located close to where the drain oil form the turbos returns to the sump. IOW, your gauge is measuring the temp of the hottest oil in the system, and that temp is not necessarily the same as the temp of the oil feeding the engine bearings. In a sense, the gauge is acting like an early warning indicator smile.

+2. They all do that, you are probably like me and like driving in the high rev range, it's quicker to use one gear higher and you won't see those temps.

I was recommended 5w50 motorsport oil, due to the high temperatures created by the turbos, but they put the temp sensor after the turbo so not really the best place to take an oil temp reading, i wonder what the oil temps would be in the engine?
As others have said, the most simple way to drop oil temps is to change your driving style and use the torque at mid range rpm
