I dont think the standard manifolds are stainless steel, i fitted a set of stainless manifolds and they are far better quality than what the standard one looks like

1)Uprated stainlees steel manifolds from Noble/ Jestream.
2)Inconel manifolds from Noble/Jetsream.
3)Aftermarket stainless steel from Alunux.

Thats all I can think of....

noble do upgraded items that are a good step forward... very expensive though and the options improve depending on the size of your wallet, the best items are something like £800 each

Wasn't chocolate, was cheese with a brown crust on it, but I can see how you thought it was.

Noble now do some nice ones and Alunox etc as already mentioned.

What I meant was ' what are the originals made of' ( not 'what are the options for replacement'). I'm trying to find out so I know what material to use if I have them welded.
